Should I
notify the recipient that I sent them a gift?
Yes, this is a
great idea if you feel that this is something you can
do. Because packages are insured, the recipients will
need to sign for their packages. Please inform
them that not only did you send them a gift through
the mail, but that it was sent from Tisket Taskets.
Do
You Issue Refunds?
It is your
responsibility to inform your recipients that they may
have to pay duties and taxes in order to receive their
package. If they refuse the package, we cannot provide
you with a refund. Refused packages can take up to 3
months to return to us and nothing within the basket
is salvageable. The ONLY time we will offer a
refund for international shipping is if we are the
cause of the problem. If we accidentally include
something in the gift that is not allowed into the
country, then we will take full responsibility for
that and will refund you entirely, if your gift is not
permitted through customs due to our mistake.
What
Countries do you ship to?
We ship
worldwide, with very few exceptions. Under no
circumstances will we ship an order to
Nigeria. Because of the high level of Nigerian fraud
orders we receive, all orders involving Nigeria are
automatically deleted from our system. In addition,
we reserve the right to not fill any order that we are
not comfortable with shipping.
How
will my gift basket order be shipped internationally?
All baskets
shipped outside the U.S. will be shipped via the
United States Postal Service Global Express air mail,
which typically delivers within 3-10 business days,
but delivery time is not guaranteed.
Expedited shipping is also available through UPS and
FedEx if a
guaranteed delivery date is needed, but only if you
have a UPS or FedEx account that the shipping charges can be
charged to it. This option allows you to also pay the
duties and taxes for the recipient. Be aware that
UPS and FedEx global shipping prices are significantly higher
than USPS prices. If you would like to charge your
shipping charges to your UPS or FedEx account, please include a
note that you prefer UPS Global shipping and provide
us with your UPS or Fed Ex account number. If you
choose this shipping method, we will charge an extra
$10.00 to cover the cost of our shipping and packing
materials and the extra time it takes to process this
type shipment.
How do
I order multiple baskets to different international
addresses?
To order
multiple baskets charged to the same credit card, you
may choose to place an online order for one of the
baskets and email us the information for the other
orders. This way, we can collect all of your billing
information through a secure server. Please do not
email your credit card information to us. When
emailing us with additional basket orders, please
include the name of the basket, price point of the
basket, card message and "ship to" address. We will
email you back to confirm that we've received your
order. Please do not email your credit card

Can
all of your gift baskets be shipped internationally?
Yes, to the best
of our knowledge, all of our gift baskets can be
shipped worldwide. When we receive an international
order, we research import restrictions for that
country. Any gift basket contents that are restricted
are then substituted with other items of equal or
greater value. Frequently, meat products, and
chocolate are
restricted to foreign countries, but not to all of
them.
In addition,
substitutions may be made to take climate into
account. Chocolate, for example, will not be shipped
to hot climates.
Are
all international orders insured?
No, in some
cases, the postal service will refuse to insure a
package. This is based on the country of
destination. Packages to Mexico are NOT
insurable. If the post office will not insure a
shipment, then Tisket Taskets will also not insure the
shipment and you pay for the shipment at your own
risk. We try to provide our customers
with a tracking number, but sometimes during the
holiday season, this slips through the cracks. If you
do not receive a tracking number, and you would like
to have one, please call us.. It is
the responsibility of the customer to verify receipt
of all international shipments. In addition, Tisket
Taskets will not be held responsible for damage to
packages that are the direct result of the destination
country's customs department. It rarely occurs, but it
is possible that a package could be held in customs
with agents tearing through it in search of illegal
goods.
Are
there duty fees?
Most countries
allow gifts up to a certain value, into their country
without the recipient paying duty fees to receive
their package. However, this value is different for
every country and we cannot provide duty fee
information to our customers. It is the customer's
responsibility to find out of duty fees must be paid
and to either ensure that their gift value is tax free
or to reimburse the gift recipient for any taxes they
must pay to receive their gift. We do not pay duty
fees and taxes in advance.
Do you
take credit cards from countries outside the U.S.?
We normally take
orders for customers with credit cards issued from
U.S. or Canadian banks, but we will consider cards
from issuing banks in other countries, on a per order
basis.
Can I
cancel my gift basket order?
Yes, you can
cancel your order, but you MUST cancel within 2
hours of placing your order. Please review your
order confirmation that will arrive by email to verify
that the information is correct. Because every
international basket will be made with the destination
country's restrictions in mind, and we generally begin
building your gift basket within 2 hours of receipt,
we will assess a 25% restocking fee for each basket
ordered that is cancelled more than 2 hours after the
order was placed.
Freshness Guarantee
We can only
guarantee freshness of food items for 30 days after
the time of purchase. To keep food fresh, please store
it in a cool, dry place. |
